Chip Case

For more than 20 years, Chip has been involved in state government and politics. Chip began his career as a campaign manager for a Republican candidate who ran for a State House seat and won. Chip served as a legislative assistant for several years in the Florida House of Representatives, including the office of then Speaker-Designate Tom Feeney. Following his service to Speaker Feeney, Chip became the chief strategist and fundraiser for Representative Allan Bense’s effort to become Speaker of the Florida House. After running a successful Speaker’s race for Representative Allan Bense, Chip became a Republican Party of Florida political consultant and was tasked with advising House campaigns and coordinating fundraising efforts for the 2004 election cycle. The 2004 cycle garnered an all-time high number of elected Republican House members–85. In addition to his work in the legislative arena, Chip served on the re-elect transition team for Governor Jeb Bush. From 2004-2006, Chip served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Speaker Allan Bense. Chip’s responsibilities included: external affairs, policy development on Medicaid Reform, Tort Reform, and Transportation, as well as the coordination of all statutory appointments for the Speaker.  Chip returned to the Republican Party of Florida in 2006, where he became Chief of Staff for House Campaigns. He was responsible for recruiting candidates, directing strategy and media outreach, fundraising, and managing a $14 Million budget for the 2008 cycle. House Campaigns successfully maintained 76 State House seats for Republicans–the same year that President Obama won Florida and Democrats were expected to make significant gains at the state level.

In 2008, Chip established a government relations and political consulting business, Jefferson Monroe.  He consults for business and non-profit clients before the Florida Legislature and Executive Branch agencies. Chip also maintains a political consulting practice for leadership races within the Florida Legislature.

Chip has a B.A. in strategic business management from Covenant College. He currently resides in Tallahassee.
